After a nearly 300 mile round trip, the PCNL surgery which was scheduled for 25th July has been postponed thanks to the latest round of industrial action within the NHS.

All the effort of putting the boat to bed, the drive home, a CT scan and blood tests .. all for nothing and will need to be repeated in 2 weeks time, subject to more industrial action … c’est la vie!

Rule 5 states:

Every vessel shall at all times maintain a proper lookout by sight and hearing as well as by all available means appropriate to the prevailing circumstances and conditions so as to make a full appraisal of the situation and of the risk of collision.
